Information on Piano Lessons
I accept a limited number of piano students. I offer a six week course for adults who want to learn how to play and understand jazz.
To qualify for this course you must meet the following criteria:
- You can read bass and treble clef.
- You can play a Db scale, four octaves, up and down, at 100 bpm, both hands.
- You have already received five (5) years of classical piano instruction.
- You are older than 18, or
- Your parent(s) will accompany you to each lesson.
This course is most beneficial for people who build chords using thirds, (and for those who understand what that means), and those who would like to be able to make sense of something like this:
